On rental. Commissioned by the Orchestra della Toscana, this piece is dedicated to the memory of its late artistic director Sergio Sablich. Like the text by Schnitzler, the composition is punctuated with musical references, sometimes with vague reminders (Beethoven and Chopin) and other times with explicit citations (Schumann's 'Carnaval') To outline the protagonist the composer alternated 'the accents of excitement at more lyrical and surreal moments and at the end everything changes in color and becomes ethereal, impalpable' (Colla).
