From 31 January 31 to February 21 2014, the music of Enrico Melozzi gives a re-reading to the Collodi's masterpiece, in the style of the new compositional path initiated by his teacher and mentor Giovanni Sollima, and characterized by the fusion of genres, from Baroque to Jimi Hendrix.
The ballet by Melozzi already staged with great success at the Opera in Perth in 2012, will be represented with the same set-up at the Filature di Mulhouse, at the Théâtre Municipal in Colmar and at the Opera National du Rhin in Strasbourg, with choreography by Ivan Cavallari and conducting by Myron Romanul.
