Stresa Festival has commissioned to Carlo Boccadoro an opera for the 400 years since William Shakespeare's death, which will be presented for the first time on August 27th during the 55th Edition of the Festival.
Loosely based on King Lear, the booklet by Cecilia Ligorio develops itself in four scenes about the three daughters of Lear: Goneril, Regan and Cordelia.
