The pianists Roberto Prosseda and Alessandra Ammara will play music by Beethoven, Rossini, Chopin, Debussy and Bartók.
The pieces are all linked to the career of the great Italian musician - who tragically died when he was only 32 years old - which is celebrated by a book just published by Zecchini Editore with Casa Musicale Sonzogno.
Felice Todde, musicologist and Ciani's close friend, will explain the program and talk about the famous departed pianist, with the help of some videos and rare pictures.
Todde will also talk about his book “Dino Ciani. Percorsi interrotti”, which includes the Ricordo di un'amica by Nandi Ostali and an Introduzione by Alberto Saravalle
