From Friday 23 to Sunday 25, a peaceful army of 100 cellos, led by Giovanni Sollima, will invade the spaces of the Teatro dell’Arte and the Triennale in Milan.
100 musicians from around the country will create the "Festival of itinerant 100 cellos", an original non-stop music, a great celebration of the cello, with music composed, printed and ... played during a day.Three days of musical experiments, for adults and for children, concerts with special guests, a competition for composers and great music to enliven the city.
The festival will open on May 23 with an "improvisate concert" in the Stazione Centrale, meeting place of the 100 musicians coming to Milan.
After that will follow a tight program of rehearsals, concerts in all corners of the Triennale," blitz" in the city, real inroads in the symbolic places of the historical center, and in the evening a concert! played in the theater.
The grand finale on Sunday 25 at 4 pm with a concert of the 100 cellos along with special guests .
