Monday 7 May at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan Giovanni Sollima and Antonio Albanese offer a worldwide preview of a scene from a pièce of musical theater in production, on the text of Michele Serra.
The piece is the first nucleus of a project that will always see Sollima and Albanese as protagonists.
The commissioners of this new work are The Cameristi della Scala, the chamber ensemble of the La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra, which will be directed by Wilson Hermanto. The program also includes the "Adagio per archi" by Samuel Barber and some movements from "Serenade" and from "Mass" by Leonard Bernstein, to whom the concert is dedicated in the centenary of his birth.
This event is part of the "Invitation to the Youth for the Elders".
