The young composer Giulia Tagliavia won the contest of composition 'In Clausura' held at Teatro Valle in Rome between April 30 th and May 1st 2013.
The jury, chaired by Nicola Piovani and composed by Piero Ostali, music publisher; Enrico Melozzi and Silvia Colasanti composers, Veronica Lazar, actress and founding member of the Foundation Teatro Valle Bene Comune, awarded Giulia Tagliavia choosing her among 8 candidates selected and admitted to test.
The winning piece, performed on stage during the performance of Giovanni Sollima and 100 cellos on May 1st in Rome, will be published by Casa Musicale Sonzogno.
